History

A to Z Coatings ownership have extensive backgrounds in practically all types of roofing and coating materials and their application processes. They have been on the leading edge of technological innovations with regards to the application of roofing and coating materials since they were founded. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and follow through. You will see one of the owners at every job we are contracted for. We are a Florida State Certified roofing contractor. We are also licensed, bonded and insured. Our license number is CCC1327859.

Staff

Gerald Robb Sr. Vice President/ Operations

Gerald’s roles include; being the chief estimator, lead job superintendent, the hiring and training of all laborers and installers. He is also in charge of quality control and equipment maintenance.

Gerry has over 28 years of experience with Spray Foam and other types of liquid applied coating applications and is one of the areas leading experts in the field. Before establishing A to Z Coatings and Sons in Savannah Georgia in 1993, Gerry had significant experience in New York State with Spray applications. He worked on major projects for IBM, several Long Island school districts and the Office of General Services for the State of New York.

Gerry is responsible for applying well over 30 million square feet of foam roofs and millions of square feet of conventional roof systems.

In Savannah, Gerry’s A to Z Coating and Sons specialized in Spray Foam (SPF) roofing and Built Up Roofing (BUR). Some of his notable work in Georgia includes:

• Gainesville Colleges – Gainesville, GA
• Southern State University – Brunswick, GA
• Armstrong Atlantic State University – Savannah, GA
• Delany Industries (formerly Southern States Phosphates) – Savannah, GA
• Araneta Coliseum – 100,000 SF – Quezon City, Philippines (Gaco Western Products)
• ALI Mall – over 200,000 SF of roof.

Gerald expanded A to Z Coating into Florida in 2005. He is an approved applicator for Gaco Western, Lapolla Coatings, BASF.

Lewis May Vice President/ Sales and Marketing

Prior to joining A to Z Coatings, Lewis had an extensive background in roofing and as an Insurance Claims Specialist and Sales Manager. His background working for insurance companies is especially helpful to A to Z clients who need guidance in filing claims and an understanding of what insurance companies will pay for and what they won’t, before any work is started! Lewis learned about the benefits of fluid applied roofing and coating products during his tenure with the insurance industry. Having seen the resilience of the products under extreme conditions and how other materials not faring as well, he was determined to let people know about these products. Lewis has over 10 years of experience as a Project Manager and 5 years of experience in the construction industry.

Lewis is driven to make clients of A to Z Coatings satisfied with their workmanship, quality product and delivery of their product on time and without surprises. He will strive to exceed each client’s expectations.

Marion Gravley Superintendent/ Lead Installer

Marion has over 10 years of experience with wall foam installation and in commercial roofing. He joined A to Z coating in 2007 where he brought his expertise with Icynene wall foam installation and extensive commercial roofing knowledge. His accreditations include; North Carolina Foam Certification and Icyene Dealer accreditation.
